During Chanukkah growing up, I always thought it would be cool if dreidels were more substantial than those little plastic ones we got during Hebrew school. Over the years I've seen larger ones, but they were either hollow plastic meant for putting coins in, or decorative wooden ones that never spun well.

Volunteering at my son's Hebrew school, I saw nothing had changed in 35 years. So armed with a career in 3D modeling and a new 3D printer, I decided maybe I could do something about this.

After a year of prototyping and testing with the Hebrew school kids, I've overcome several obstacles to produce something truly manufacturable - eliminating all the non-3D-printed parts that previous designs needed to hold together.

The Dreidel Forge Spinner is currently available in five different color combinations for the main and accent colors, and coming next year I'll be releasing variations to the shape and design that will be interchangeable with the current model!
